From Our CEO

Drawing on my personal experiences with addiction and recovery, and nearly twenty years working in the addiction treatment field, I wanted to work in a place that was different than all the other treatment centers out there. So, I began A New Day with certain goals in mind.

I asked people I had worked with in the past, who had the same ideals, philosophy and values, to join our team and create something that is truly special. Together, we have done just that.

We operate our treatment center with a common goal and common values. We are here to help people get well. It is our collective belief that the highest quality treatment should be accessible, innovative, individualized and should include the family when appropriate.

We know that it is through constant self-evaluation and adaptation that the individual discovers what works in recovery and we believe a treatment center should do the same.  We constantly strive to incorporate the most effective treatment strategies in our approach, bearing in mind that every patient is a whole person, not just the disease of addiction. The whole person needs to recover and it is our common goal to assist patients in regaining every aspect of their lives – from fitness to nutrition, to financial responsibility and self- care.

In order to provide the highest quality treatment, we provide a small, intimate treatment setting allowing us to effectively give each person the attention and care they need. We understand that early recovery is the most crucial time in an addicted person’s life and the process of recovery requires a concentrated amount of  education and guidance in a safe and nurturing environment.

Please trust that if you, or someone you love, needs our help, we will help you and them find hope, at A New Day.

Sincerely,
Mike Slinskey
